Employee Model

All technicians are employees of the company

•  

All technicians are background screened, pre-employment drug tested and required to have and maintain a clean driving record

All technicians are uniformed and outfitted with a full complement of the latest tools

•  

All technicians undergo safety and technical training

•

New Technician Training & Safety Program

  

We are in the business of training and developing people so that we can provide superior and consistent levels of customer satisfaction.

All of our new technicians must complete a comprehensive four week training program that includes:

•  

Safety and technical training

•  

A one week technical training class is held at our corporate training facility. This establishes basic installation knowledge and provides hands on learning in our controlled in-house training environment. Skills learned include:

•  

Equipment safety and basic safety practices, including ladder handling and driving techniques

•  

Cable wire technologies

 

•  

Proper tool usage including meters, drilling techniques and other necessary technical skills

•  

Client and customer equipment training

•  

Customer service and education

•  

Proper paperwork and documentation requirements

•  

A three week field training program:

•  

On the job training with experienced technicians

•  

Strong emphasis on customer service and customer education

•  

Periodic performance evaluations conducted by area managers

   
 

Company Owned Fleet

 
  

•  

Our fleet of over 800 vehicles is comprised of late model company owned vehicles

•  

Our ongoing relationship with a major fleet leasing and procurement company gives us the flexibility to add vehicles quickly to our fleet as requirements change

•  

Each truck is outfitted with ladders, beacon systems, tools and safety equipment

•  

Our in-house garage facilities and regular preventative maintenence programs ensure the reliability of our vehicles to minimize down time

 
 

Ongoing Training & Quality Control

Quality control training and monitoring

Training is held on site at our corporate training facility and includes:

Broadband high speed data/cable modem installations

 

•  

Digital and VoIP telephone installations

 

•  

Each technician is on a training progression schedule to become a "Triple Play" tech

•  

Broadband Express utilizes dedicated corporate and field QC resources to monitor and track individual QC results
